Barbara McCleary began drawing at a very young age and continued her art studies during high school and college. After a very successful career in graphic design, she began painting in 1996. Her dominant medium is oil on canvas or panel and her landscapes, still lifes and florals have a quiet, restful feeling that appeals to many. Barbara's aim is to "express light and brilliant color so that her viewer may step into a vibrant yet serene place of spiritual calm and experience the ordinary as extraordinary."
